Spring Cleaning Book Tag

I was tagged by my friend Noel to do this tag, oh and I forgot to tag people in my last post! Oops!

Here it goes!

1. The Struggle of getting started: a book/book series that you have struggled to begin because of its size.

For me, that has to be nothing! I do not get intimidated by a size. I love big books! I don't care if it is 800 pages or more!

2. Cleaning out the wardrobe: A book/series you want to unhaul.

I don't currently have any!

3. Opening windows and letting fresh air in: A book that was refreshing.

The Twilight Series! I am loving it so far! It was refreshing to take a break from heavy fantasy even though I love that genre!

4. Washing out sheet stains: A book you wish you could rewrite a certain scene in.

*WARNING* This is going to be spoiler heavy, so if you haven't read Falling Kingdoms by Morgan Rhodes, Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling, Heartless by Marissa Meyer or the Hunger Games by Suzan Collins skip this question!

1) Emilia should not have died in Falling Kingdoms
2) Finnick's death in the Hunger Games
3) Fred, Dobby, Tonks, and Lupin's deaths in Harry Potter
4) Umbridge should have died in Order of the Pheonix
5)Jest's death in Heartless

5. Throwing out necessary knick-knack: A book in a series that you didn't think was necessary.

None

6. Polishing the doorknobs: A book that had a clean finish.

The Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling (Even though I want more!)

7. Reaching to dust the fan: A book that tried too hard to relieve a certain message.

I haven't read any books like that

8.  The tiring yet satisfying finish of spring cleaning: A series that was tiring yet satisfying to read through.

I don't know. I haven't finished many series because there are so many! I have started the first books and then I'm waiting for myself to go and get the book. My practical self won't allow it until I've finished every book on my shelf.

9. Looking forward to next spring: Tag 4 people that you want to do this tag!

:) I don't know many bloggers, and the ones I do know already did it, so...

So long,
~~D

Love and Theater Cover Reveal

So my novel, Love and Theater. Here is the cover, synopsis, an aesthetic I made for the story, and another sneak peek to get you excited!
I did this with my friend Noel who is also doing a cover reveal. Go check her out...

Here is the synopsis:
Rose Adary is auditioning for the role of Anastasia in her school musical. When the nerve-wracking audition is over she accidentally trips and falls into the arms of Liam, the new handsome student at Banel Junior High School. Her well-organized lifestyle might as well have turned upside down when she discovers her mom is pregnant with twins and her little brother Al is in a car accident with his leg needing to be sawed off. Her feelings for Liam are just another problem.
This story shows the family struggles that come from unfortunate accidents and the need to stay true to your family.

The aesthetic: The Sneak Peek: “Rose Adary! Please come on to the stage,” called the drama teacher. Mrs. Wister has been my teacher since I came to Banel Juni…

#UnicornWriteAThon Announcement and Plans

#UnicornWriteAThon
So, I'm starting a WriteAThon... The name was my idea. For some reason, I've been on a unicorn high recently.
What is it: During the week period, you have to accomplish a word count goal you set for yourself.

When is it: May 13-19, 2018

Why: Because I need to finish the novel I started.

MY PLANS!!!!
I am planning to write a total of:
3,500 words!
And, I plan to outline A LOT! Right now I have about 5,000 words and I do want quite a short book sooooo................

Question: How are you liking the Twilight series so far? Answer: I am loving it. I actually just finished a day ago. I need another one though. I'm gonna find the author's P.O. box and send her a 4-page letter explaining why I NEED another book in that series. This has become one of my new favorite series.
What is your word count goal if you are doing the WriteAThon? And if you are doing it comment! My review for an Ember in the Ashes will be up VERY soon.
