Recent Reads #6
Hello everyone! Recently I have been in a huge "book community" mood by which I mean I am just in the mood to be in the community more than usual. (Also, I recommend you join my Book Club: The Bookalicious Book Club! It is a lot of fun and we are reading some great books this month)!
Secondly, I have been reading Oliver Twist for some time now and it isn't my favorite so far. I am unsure if I should DNF or just pull through. I could also not finish it now, but read it when I am older and will appreciate it more which is what I think I may do but I am so far into it I feel like it would be pointless to not finish it. What are your thoughts?
Other books I am currently reading,
Physically: The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren
Second Audiobook: Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
Ebook: When Death is Calling by Henry Taba

- The Storm Crow by Kalyn Josephson - 4/5 stars - I actually really enjoyed this book more than I expected to. My ship was actually really surprising for me and I was ad it wasn't end game but overall I enjoyed the characters and the mythology with the crows was really cool. Some of the twists literally had me gasping. I definitely recommend!
- Girl Online by Zoe Sugg - 2/5 stars - I DNFed it. I never DNF books but I did this one. Penny annoyed me so much and I felt like the author exaggerated some of the embarrassing moments are made them much worse just for the sake of the story. I enjoyed the best friend relationship between her and the guy I do not remember the name of at the moment. I also enjoyed the blog aspect but overall the author wrote like an adult acting like a kid but didn't know what it really was like.
- A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro - 5/5 stars - I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!!! I WILL DEFINITELY BE WRITING A REVIEW SOON!
- A Shadow Bright and Burning by Jessica Cluess - 4.75/5 stars - I enjoyed this book a lot and I loved the magic system! I really didn't expect some parts and OMG I LOVE BLACKWOOD!!!! But the whole storyline was fascinating and I can't wait to get the next book in the series in my hands.
What are you guys currently reading? What have you read recently? Let me know! I hope you enjoyed! Happy Reading!
So long,
~D.
